Our armchairs range from swivel cuddle chairs and chenille armchairs to manual and power recliners. Many match a sofa range, so you can complete your living room with a chair in the same fabric or leather. Each product page lists the full dimensions so you can check the fit.
How wide are our armchairs?
Our armchairs range from 81 cm wide for a swivel cuddle chair to 110 cm for our larger recliners. Most fixed armchairs are around 100 cm wide, so they'll sit comfortably beside a sofa or in a bay window.
If you're choosing a recliner, leave room in front for the footrest, as some of our power recliner chairs reach 165 cm deep when fully reclined. The product page shows the exact measurements for each chair.
Can I get an armchair to match my sofa?
Yes. Many of our sofa ranges include a matching armchair, including the Monaco, Bronte, Brooklyn, Noah, Dylan, Lawson, Libby and Langdale.

Should I choose a recliner armchair?
Choose a recliner if you want to put your feet up, or a fixed chair if space in front is tight. Most of our armchairs recline, with manual and power versions, and some power chairs add USB charging and a power headrest.

Which armchairs don't recline?
Our fixed armchairs include a swivel cuddle chair, soft chenille armchairs in grey or oatmeal, and a UK-made armchair from our Made in Britain range.
A fixed chair takes up less room than a recliner and works well as an occasional seat in a bedroom, hallway or reading corner. For leather, take a look at our leather range, which includes leather recliner chairs. All our armchairs are BS 7176 compliant and come with a 5-year frame guarantee.
Can I try armchairs before I buy?
Yes. At our Burnley and Mexborough showrooms you can sit in our armchairs and try the recliners in person, which is the easiest way to judge comfort, size and colour. Call 01282 570700 before you travel if you want to see a specific model.

How much is delivery on armchairs?
Delivery is charged by postcode area, and you'll see the cost for your address at checkout. Deliveries run Monday to Friday, and the lead time for each armchair is shown on its product page.
Our two-person team brings your order to the room of your choice, fits the feet and backs, and takes the packaging away. We can also take away your old furniture when we deliver, with prices shown at checkout. Read our delivery information for full details.
Can I spread the cost of an armchair?
Yes. Choose PayItMonthly at checkout to spread the cost interest-free over 2 to 12 monthly payments, on orders from £300 to £3,000 and subject to status. Buying in store? Just tell our showroom team you'd like to pay monthly. Our finance options page has the details.
