What are smart sofas?

Smart sofas are power recliners with technology built in, so you can charge your phone, adjust your headrest and recline without getting up. They plug into the mains like any power recliner, so plan to place yours near a socket.

Our range includes the Vinson, which comes as a 2 seater with a centre console, a 2 seater, a 3 seater and a recliner armchair, and the Gracie in real leather, as a 2 seater with a centre console or a 3 seater in tan, grey or midnight blue.

What features do your smart sofas have?

Every Vinson recliner has power recline and USB charging, and the seats recline independently, so one person can put their feet up while the other sits upright. Power headrests feature on models such as the Vinson 2 seater and armchair, and the Vinson 3 seater and console sofa have built-in Bluetooth speakers.

The Gracie has power recline and power headrests in both sizes. The 2 seater console sofas go furthest: the Vinson adds a wireless charging dock, a hidden storage drawer and a cup cooling feature, while the Gracie adds wireless charging, USB ports and hidden cup holders. Each product page lists exactly which features that piece has.

How much space does a smart sofa need?

Both 2 seater console smart sofas are 193 cm wide, and the Gracie 3 seater is 205 cm. Fully reclined, the Vinson and Gracie need up to 165 cm of depth in front, so leave room for the footrests and a walkway.

Should I choose a fabric or leather smart sofa?

Choose the Vinson for a performance fabric chosen for its strength and resistance to everyday wear, with pocket sprung, foam and fibre seat cushions. Choose the Gracie for real leather that wipes clean easily, in grey, midnight blue or a warm tan that you'll also find in our tan leather sofas.

Can I try smart sofas before I buy?

Yes. At our Burnley and Mexborough showrooms you can try our smart sofas and their built-in tech in person, which is the easiest way to judge comfort, size and colour. Call 01282 570700 before you travel if you want to see a specific model.

How much is delivery on smart sofas?

The delivery charge depends on your postcode area and is shown at checkout before you pay. We deliver Monday to Friday, and you'll find the lead time for each smart sofa on its product page.

A two-person team carries your order into the room you choose, fits the feet and backs and clears away the packaging. Old furniture removal is available at delivery too, priced at checkout. Our delivery information has the full details.

Can I spread the cost of a smart sofa?

Yes. Choose PayItMonthly at checkout to spread the cost interest-free over 2 to 12 monthly payments, on orders from £300 to £3,000 and subject to status. Buying in store? Just tell our showroom team you'd like to pay monthly. Our finance options page has the details.
