What are high sleeper beds?
High sleeper beds raise the mattress well off the floor, leaving the space underneath free for a desk, storage or play. They're a popular choice for smaller bedrooms and for older children and teenagers who want more room for their things.
Ours is a 3ft single high sleeper, reached by sturdy storage steps. It suits children who are ready to sleep up high and like having their own space below.
What colours does your high sleeper come in?
Our high sleeper comes in white with silver-grey accents, which keeps a small room feeling light and bright, or in a darker anthracite finish that suits a teenager's room.

How much space does a high sleeper need?
Our high sleeper is 197 cm wide, 119 cm deep and 178 cm high. Measure your ceiling height and leave enough headroom above the mattress for your child to sit up comfortably in bed.
Allow clear space in front of the steps so they're easy to use, and keep the bed away from ceiling lights and windows that open inwards.
Does a high sleeper have storage?
Yes. Under the bed there's a pull-out wardrobe with its own storage drawer, and a built-in desk with storage drawers and cable holes, with plenty of headroom for homework. Every step also has a hidden storage cupboard for books and toys.
The mattress is sold separately, so add a 3ft single from our mattress range. If two children share the room, a bunk bed may suit you better.
Can I try high sleeper beds before I buy?
Yes. At our Burnley and Mexborough showrooms you can see our beds in person, which is the easiest way to judge comfort, size and colour. Call 01282 570700 before you travel if you want to see a specific model.

How much is delivery on high sleeper beds?
The delivery charge depends on your postcode area and is shown at checkout before you pay. We deliver Monday to Friday, and you'll find the lead time for each high sleeper on its product page.
A two-person team carries your order into the room you choose and clears away the packaging. Old furniture removal is available at delivery too, priced at checkout. Our delivery information has the full details.
Can I spread the cost of a high sleeper bed?
