Common stairs, parking and access
A lot of Edinburgh lives up a common stair, so that's where we start.
- Common stairs. In Marchmont, Bruntsfield, Leith and Stockbridge, measure the stair width and the turn at each landing.
- New Town flats. Georgian flats can have grand rooms but narrow service stairs or curved stairwells. Tell us which way in is widest.
- Parking. Much of the city is in controlled parking zones. Tell us where the van can stop and we'll carry from there.
- Coastal and suburban homes. In Portobello, Corstorphine and Musselburgh, access is usually easier, but still check the lounge door.
Compare your measurements with the width, depth and height on the product page. Not sure it will fit? Call us before ordering and we'll help you check.

Edinburgh delivery questions
Can you deliver up a common stair?
Yes. Measure the stair at its narrowest and at the tightest turn, and compare that with the sofa's depth and height. Upstairs delivery is included.
Where will the van park?
Tell us about parking restrictions on your street when we call. We'll stop as close as we safely can and carry the sofa in.
Is leather a good choice for a busy flat?
Leather wipes clean easily and suits smaller rooms. Check each product page for care details.
